Are pets welcome?+
Selected ground-floor suites and our Garden Villas are pet-friendly on request, with a one-off cleaning charge added to your stay. We offer a complimentary welcome amenity for your dog (bed, bowls, treats), a walking service twice daily, and grooming on request. Cats are welcome in carriers but our suites do not have litter facilities — please let us know in advance.
How far is the airport?+
Approximately thirty-five minutes by private car along the coastal road in normal conditions, or fifty-five minutes if your driver takes the scenic inland route through the vineyards (we recommend this on arrival days when there is no hurry). By helicopter from the resort helipad, the journey is twelve minutes door-to-door.
Can you host private events?+
Yes. Our two ballrooms, eight private dining rooms, beach pavilion, and rotunda are available for private hire, with capacities from eight to four hundred guests. Weddings and milestone celebrations are a particular pleasure of ours; our events director will design a proposal within forty-eight hours of an initial enquiry.
Do you offer airport transfers?+
Yes. Private transfers in a chauffeured Mercedes or Rolls-Royce can be arranged when you book your stay, or up to two hours before arrival. For guests in a particular hurry, our helipad is operational from 07:00 to 22:00, with a twelve-minute flight from the international airport. Both services can be charged to your suite.
Inside the resort
Built one room at a time.
When we opened in 1976 we had six rooms, a kitchen, and one rule: guests are not units of revenue, they are people we have invited home. 50 years later we have 160 keys, three restaurants and a casino floor — and the rule has not moved an inch.
There is a way to do this work and a way not to. We have, over 50 years, picked one and stuck to it. Every member of our team — from the front desk to the kitchen porters — has been chosen, trained and kept because they share the same instinct about what good looks like. That is not something a building can produce on its own. It comes from people.
We hope you will come and see for yourself. And, when you do, we hope you will tell us where we got it wrong, so that the next 50 years are better than the last.

Private Pools
Two infinity pools, four heated plunge pools, sixteen cabanas, and a private beach with chilled towel service all day. Children under sixteen are welcome only in the family pool — the rest are quiet by design.
